- Print out a sign in sheet from the files section (scroll to the bottom of the page)
Rules
- Kids help set-up AND clean up
- Kids must stay inside the gate until a parent arrives ... NO-ONE LEAVES EARLY (without a parent).
- Parents must tell us who is picking up their kid.
- Be willing and ready to take sick kids home (this has happened)
- Know where the first aide kit is.
- Hosts must review emergency procedures with Tatiana before the event starts
- Know who to contact in case of a pool emergency (Tatiana?)
- Kids under 8 must have some kind of parent or babysitter arrangement. Hosts/coaches can agree to watch the younger kids if asked ahead of time. This is optional and at the disgression of the host/coach
- Swim team members only ... No sibs, no friends, because our insurance doesn't cover it.
- Cost: $10 per kid or 3 for $25
- No one goes in the pool once the guards leave
- Anyone who goes in the pool is automatically off the team.
- If anyone gets pushed into the pool the "pusher" is also off the team.
- "Stay off the roof" and all other pool rules apply
Setting up
- One adult should greet kids at the door. Make sure they sign in and pay. Print out sign in sheets in the files section of the wiki.
- Move shade cover to the park side wall. Attach the sides to block the sun. The sides are in the shed.
- Kids bring their own blankets and towels to sit on the ground
- Keep chairs and lounge chairs in the back so everyone can see (this has been a problem)
- Kids help move the shade cover... needs someone on each leg.
- Pizza: From Little Casers Mt. View. $5 each. Order when you see how many kids show up. 10 pizzas serve about 30 kids more or less. We ordered 5 "cheese and pepperoni" and 5 "just plain cheese" . We got 1 veggie if Dana was there.
- Save Receipts for reimbursement
- Start popcorn early.
Clean up
- Make sure every kid goes home with a parent or guardian! This is extremely important. Someone has to stay until they get picked up. Use the checklist -- check it twice
- Kids must help clean up. That means no trash on the ground. straighten up the lounge chairs
- Give cash and receipts to Ron Campbell or me. Ron will pay the coaches
- Get reimbursed for costs with receipts
